Today was actually one of the best days i have had in a few weeks!I was in a really good mood today so i decided to bring my two little sisters with me to run errands.I took them to Barnes and noble and bought them a couple books, i was trying to figure out which book iwanted, it was between Lauren Conrad LA Candy or the Carrie diary's i ended up not buying either of them because i just couldn't make up my mind, have any of you read LA candy by Lauren Conrad is it any good? I also picked up a few items i needed for my next DIY project that I'm working on , i will have pictures to show you guys the finished project some point this week.

i have both books.but the carrie diaries is great!its funny and awesome to imagine carrie as a teenager. LA candy is a super duper easy read.its good. but go with the other one first

ReplyDeleteI read LA candy and Sweet little lies in 48 hours, it was like reality reading, as opposed to reality tv.
As for the Carrie diaries I had higher expectations for that book that weren't fulfilled, I was constantly waiting for it to get more exciting and i waited and waited till the end of the book (never did) but...
SPOILER ALERT : You find out how she meets samantha, which totally doesnt match SATC 2 but hey...

LA Candy is good if you like a super easy fun read. It's not the most.. in depth or thought provoking book I've ever read, but if you're in the mood for something quick and lighthearted, I'd go with that! Think of it as like a beach read.

ReplyDeleteI read The Carrie Diaries, one of my favorite books of the year. But than again I may be biased because anything that has to do with Carrie Bradshaw is a win in my eyes.
