outfits of 2012

It's hard to believe that in just a few hours 2012 will be over and done with. This year was one of the harder years in my life but i don't have any regrets. Just lessons learned.I'm looking forward to seeing what 2013 brings my way. This year is gong to be about accomplishing more goals and focusing on turning into a better person.I have alot of things that i want to change about my self/ life and i am so ready to get started!!I'm feeling pretty optimistic about 2013 and i just want to thank you guys for sticking with me and continuing to support my blog The Style Playlist. Above i posted my top favorite looks that i have posted about in 2012. It's safe to say that my unif hell bounds were the most worn shoe on my blog in 2012. Is it weird that i'm still not in the least bit sick of them lol? Have a good one guys, i'll see ya next year!

Motel Rocks Jordan Skinny jean

I can not tell you how much i am in love these motel rocks striped jordan skinny's. I was sent these pants courtesy of motel rocks about a year ago before they blasted off into the blogopsphere. Every blogger pretty much owns a pair of these now and i cant blame them because they are super comfortable and extremely easy to style. I have worn them in at least a dozen or more outfit combo's since i have had them this past year.These jordan skinny's have been features on The styleplaylist four different times. I decided to put together a little collage of the different ways that i have styled these motel rocks skinny's. I think my favorite combo is the one above. Whats yours?

Hey cuties!I hope you all had an absolutely amazing Christmas! I sure enjoyed mine and really took the time to sit back and enjoy my family because my dad could have easily not been with us this due to his heart trauma he had over the summer.He has a long road ahead of him but he's so strong and i am so blessed to have been able to spend another Christmas with him. I received this dress for Christmas and as soon ad i opened it,it was love at first site. I love the girly/Gothic mix that this dress possesses.Can you believe this beauty is from forever21? I kid you not. What is everyone's new years plans? I'm still trying to figure mine out and i need to come up with some New years resolutions that i'll actually stick to.

This is just a quick update to let you all know that i am still alive lol!! I know i haven't had a new post for you guys in about two weeks, but like most of you i have been pretty busy this holiday season and just haven't had the time to put out a quality post. I have also been feeling really uninspired, fashion wise lately so that's another reason why i haven't posted in a bit. Completely Obsessed with the harlett concho harness that i picked up from MissKL during the black Friday sales. The Harlett harness is such a great way to glam up and renew your old boots!

This Guns N'Roses sweatshirt is pure love. Probably one of the greatest buys i have ever made from urban outfitters and that's really saying something because i have been a urban outfitters shopper for so many years!Yes i have on my Jeffrey Campbell "Hell yes" boots again. I seriously can not get enough of these bad boys. I can seriously pair these with just about any thing and it just takes that outfit to another level in my opinion. Don't be surprised if these shoes are the only shoes i blog in for a while. I am that obsessed.

I love, love love Riding pants!I definitely consider them a to be a staple in my winter wardrobe. I think they are extremely easy to style and they look good with just about any style shoe. Today i decided to color block my bottom half with pastels and i ended up really loving the look of turquoise and baby yellow paired together.I decided to toughen up this Easter egg look with my new crop Dimepiece top that i pick up for like 12 bucks on black friday! Yikes!! I just realized its almost been a week since my last post! Sorry about that guys I've been pretty busy with life and all of its unexpected surprises,you know how that goes. Any ways this Unif kickflip dress is one of the many items i pick up on black Friday and its probably one of my favorite pieces that i bought during the whole black Friday/cyber Monday ordeal.I have been wanting this dress for forever so when it dropped down to 60 bucks i knew i had to scoop it up! The Jeffrey Campbell "Hell Yes" boots that i am wearing in the above photos are the newest shoes in my collection! I picked these up at the big Solestruck sale for a unbelievable deal and haven't been able to take them off since!
